This platform is designed for Nigerian secondary school students in JSS1 through SS3. If you are under 18 years of age, please review this policy with a parent or guardian before using our services.

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

• Create an account (name, email address, class level, school name)
• Upload a payment receipt for Pro subscription verification
• Complete quizzes, lessons, and practice questions
• Post in the Community section
• Contact us for support

We also automatically collect certain technical information including your device type, browser, IP address, and usage patterns to improve our service.

3. Why We Collect Your School Name

We ask for your school name during registration for the following reasons:

• Leaderboards: To create school-level leaderboards so you can compete with classmates.
• Tailored Content: To provide curriculum content relevant to your school's exam format (WAEC/NECO/JAMB).
• Analytics: To understand which schools benefit most from our platform so we can improve.

Your school name is never sold to third parties and is not shared with your school without your consent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the AeroLearn platform
• Personalize your learning experience and track your progress
• Process subscription payments and verify receipts
• Send you important updates about your account or the service
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Monitor and prevent fraud and abuse

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), which is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Payment receipts are stored securely and only accessible by authorised AeroLearn administrators.

We do not store your bank account details or card numbers. All payment verification is done manually by our team through receipt review.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Google Firebase for data storage and authentication.
• Legal Requirements: If required by Nigerian law or a valid legal process.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing
